We are based in north San Diego county, in Carlsbad. There's no better way to start your weekend than to walk and/or run along the beaches of Carlsbad from MaGee Park, 9am each Saturday morning with our group. We often have water for you to insure you're properly hydrated. Front Runners North County is also meant to be one of the foundations of restoring connections with other parts of North County's GLBT society.

Front Runners is a growing national association of run/walk groups for the GLBT community, along with their family and friends, of which all are welcome.

2. We want you to tell your friends (and maybe even an enemy or two) about us
3. Get (if you don't already have one) a YAHOO ID, very simple to do
4. Join Yahoo Group FRNC, link below for doing that
5. Where is it? From I-5, exit Carlsbad Village Drive, go west to the coast highway "Carlsbad Blvd", and turn right. Up about 4 blocks on the left is Beech Ave, and MaGee Park. You can park along Beach Blvd. or elsewhere nearby. There is usually plenty of free parking at that hour.See a map of the location.
6. The park is just a block away from the beach, which often has surfers enjoying the coast as well.
7. Afterwards, we go to one of several nearby coffee/tea houses for good conversation.

We run and/or walk either on the sands of the beach, the walkway as shown to the right that borders the beach, or along the walkways above along the roadways that follow the beach. Alternate pathways for run/walk along the beach
Walkers and runners will often see this along Carlsbad Ave. on the way back Art show that's along Carlsbad Blvd. every weekend we see almost every time
After the run/walk, we meet at one of several locations for drinks'n'munchies, and some good socialization with others. Sometimes, Vinaka.
